Configure ASUS Router via 192.168.1.1

Connect your device to the ASUS router via WiFi or Ethernet cable
Open your browser and type http://192.168.1.1 or http://router.asus.com
Enter Username: 'admin' and Password: 'admin' (or your custom one)
On first boot, ASUS will guide you through quick network setup

- Click on Wireless in the side menu
- Go to the General tab
- Edit the Network Name (SSID)
- Set WPA2-Personal and enter password

- Enable Port Forwarding
- Click + to add a rule
- Set service name, port and local IP
What is the default IP address of ASUS routers?

AiProtection is a free security system powered by Trend Micro, included in ASUS routers. You'll find it in the 'AiProtection' section of the panel. It automatically protects against malware, attacks and malicious sites.
How do I configure AiMesh with multiple ASUS routers?
AiMesh creates a mesh network with multiple ASUS routers. On the main router, go to 'AiMesh' and click 'Search'. Put the other ASUS routers in AiMesh mode (via reset) and they will be detected and added automatically.
The ASUS router won't connect after a firmware update, what do I do?
Sometimes after an update a full reset is needed. Hold the Reset button for 10 seconds. If the problem persists, download the firmware from the ASUS website and install it manually via 'Administration' > 'Firmware Upgrade'.
